Grateful to God for all He has done and will continue to do, Lilian Reyes is a wife to Fred and a mother of three boys. A lifelong artist and passionate educator, she has spent the past decade homeschooling, guided by Charlotte Mason’s philosophy. Having graduated two boys, with one in an apprenticeship program and the other in college, is a testament to her commitment to a rich living education. Born into a naval family in the Philippines and raised in Cuba, then in Charleston, SC, Lilian’s love for culture and the arts shaped her journey. She danced with the Hi-Yasmin Filipino Cultural Society, performed and helped educate communities and schools through dance. Her artistic path flourished through selective programs like the AP art program, the STEP art program, and the Governor's School for the Arts in Furman University and blessed with mentorship from distinguished local artists, she received a BA in Art from Winthrop University, where she studied painting and art history. Lilian finds beauty in both education and creativity, working across various artistic mediums and immersing herself in literature; her favorite book being Mother Not by Alan Dean Foster. She delights in the many shades of green, a reflection of life’s vibrancy. She wholeheartedly welcomes families into Wildlings A Charlotte Mason Cottage School, a cooperative she founded that echoes her belief that education is not merely imparted but cultivated and cherished with the enduring principles of a living education, drawing inspiration from Charlotte Mason’s principles that, “education is an atmosphere, a discipline, a life; that all children are born persons; and that education is a science of relations.” Lilian integrated these principles into her homeschool enriching not only her artistic endeavors but also her life as a whole. Through it all, she remains ever grateful for the journey, knowing each step is guided by God’s hand, -however imperfectly.

Chelsea is honored to be the wife of a first responder who serves for the College of Charleston PD. A homeschooling mother of four for over six years, is a passionate educator dedicated to the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education. she has firsthand experience in cultivating a love of learning through living books, nature study, and narration. She also served as the headmistress of a Charlotte Mason cottage school, deepening her understanding of how to bring this rich, time-honored method to a broader learning community. For the past three years, she has been furthering her own education through classes at the House of Humane Letters, refining her knowledge of classical and Mason-inspired learning. She believes education is a lifelong journey and strives to nurture curiosity, wonder, and a love for truth, goodness, and beauty in her students. Above all, she treasures the opportunity to make meaningful memories with her family and students and is deeply grateful to God for the privilege of teaching and learning alongside them. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four daughters, reading, gardening, tending to her chickens, and exploring the outdoors. She is excited to share her love of learning and the Charlotte Mason philosophy with the families at Wildlings!

Bethany is a devoted mother to twin girls and is married to a sweet husband—and by extension, to the Navy (since once you marry one, the other tags along!). Raised in sunny Florida, she has lived and taught all over the world, bringing a wealth of experience from her time overseas. With a Master’s in Education, Bethany has been teaching since 2010 and, since 2020, has embraced the journey of homeschooling, blending her educational expertise with a passion for personalized learning. Outside the classroom, Bethany is an avid crafter who loves exploring new projects that combine creativity and practicality, with pyrography being her favorite craft. Her love for singing brings joy to her daily life, whether through spontaneous family sing-alongs or at church. A nature enthusiast at heart, she finds peace in hiking, gardening, and exploring the outdoors. Bethany is also an avid reader, always ready to dive into a good book. Above all, she treasures spending time with her family, creating lasting memories through shared experiences and adventures.
